Hello everyone,
I am new here in the forum, so please be patient if I forget something :)
My partner and I have purchased a plot of land, however, it is located in noise level area 3, which means we have certain requirements for sound insulation regarding the exterior walls of the bedrooms.
Does anyone here know about this and can tell us which exterior masonry we need to use to comply with the DIN standard?
We would like to use bricks because of the indoor climate. However, do we still need to consider insulation here? How thick will the wall be overall then? Should we rather use a different type of masonry?
Many thanks and best regards
Pia and Eike
