Hello forum community,

we are currently facing the decision which water-to-water heat pump we should choose.

We have been offered a Waterkotte Ai1 Geo 5008.5 and a Dimplex WI 14TU.

Both heating installers specialize in their respective brands.

Does anyone have experience with either of the systems and could give us some tips or share their experiences?

Thank you very much

Regards

Hello, What was the result of the heating load calculation according to DIN 12831? Has a suitability test of the water quality been carried out? Kind regards

Hello €uro,

does that matter? My question was only about the manufacturer or the devices, whether anyone has experience with them. The sizing of the heating load or heating capacity as well as the water quality are the same for both devices.

We have been using a Waterkotte Ai1 Eco Touch (with geothermal energy) for 2 months now, no problems so far. The device is quiet and easy to operate, also via app. We therefore have no long-term experience yet.

The heating load results from the requirements/necessities of the building, the location, and the user behavior. It is independent of the heat generator.
That will be of little use, because what is sensible for A just barely works for B and leads to a money pit for C.
At best, experiences with operation or implementation of the BA can be helpful.
No draw or swallow well, water quality will be no more identical than the actual demand (power, energy) for heating and hot water.

Hello €uro,

just for you again: It has been decided that it will be a water-water heat pump, and heating load, water quality, etc. have been calculated, are correct, and are available.

Here, my question is about the product, the manufacturer, etc., and not about your famous money pit, your HVAC activities, or similar.

This is a great forum here, unfortunately many top users do not answer the question of the thread creator but prefer to share their opinion on God knows what.

Sorry, but I had to get that off my chest.

:

Thank you very much for your experience, that’s what I wanted to hear.

Thanks
