We have now, shortly before the start of construction, completed the 3 most important ones:
- Owner’s liability insurance
- Construction all-risk insurance
- Fire shell insurance (as part of a building insurance)

Hello,

after the construction was completed, you should not do without a home insurance. For example, I informed myself about the insurance back then at insurance1. They helped me because they compare insurances.

A very interesting topic. There are certainly some insurances that you don’t necessarily have to take out.

We take out legal protection insurance at most 3 months before construction begins.

My sister works at an insurance company - luckily, I get good advice there.

A nice hello,

* Builder's liability insurance: mandatory (already from the purchase of the property)
* Construction all-risk insurance: depends on the contract design with the general contractor (GC)
* Residential building insurance including 24 months free fire shell insurance, the residential building itself starting with the move-in date: mandatory
* Accident insurance for builders and construction helpers: unfortunately often forgotten but absolutely necessary

* Glass, as mentioned by a previous speaker, I personally consider negligible as long as there are no panoramic windows, historically valuable glass collections, or conservatories present. Windows are included in the residential building and household insurance anyway. Except in cases of own fault.

The issue of bicycles in household insurance and other items in the outdoor area depends, like many things, on the chosen contract partner and tariff.

Good advice before conclusion proves extremely useful in case of damage. It is of little use, for example, to have had the "cheapest" internet direct insurer contribution for 10 years if no payment is made in the event of damage.
