Hello everyone,
in my search for a suitable heating system for a planned newly built two-family house, I am very interested in the opinions of the forum members. Unfortunately, I have not found an existing topic, as most similar topics are always restricted in the choice of the right heating system due to KFW subsidies.
Information about the house:
-two-family house with basement
-freely designable without restrictions from KFW
-150sqm living space to be heated (ground floor 85sqm, attic 65sqm)
-the attic is to be rented out
-plot size: 762sqm
To save money and effort, I want to do without a wood stove for additional heating. My parents and my two sisters each have a pellet heating system in their houses and all three are quite satisfied with it, so I tend towards a pellet heating system as long as I don’t get wiser. An acquaintance of mine decided on geothermal energy for his house and has already complained that he cannot get his house as warm as he would like, however I have no detailed knowledge about the exact circumstances with this acquaintance.
Here I would like to clarify which heating system is most suitable for me and what funding opportunities are available.
I also have an appointment with the energy consultant coming up, about which I will of course report here in the forum.
Thanks already for your contributions
Best regards
