Since I am unfortunately not allowed to share a link, I can only give you a few infos here: Ekey xLine in black/white will be orderable from 01/03/23, delivery probably end of January, price probably €804 incl. controller, frame and fingerprint sensor. If you need more info, just call Ekey, they are nice and helpful (no advertising).

We have now had the corresponding cables laid to accommodate a controller in the fuse box – I'm curious if this will work out with the app etc. Our electrician still advises us to go with the old version without an app, it just always works, even in 10 years without an app and internet. But I definitely want a touch scanner and not a line scanner:rolleyes:

Yes, we also want to have the pressure sensor.

The APP also has useful features, e.g., push notifications when the child has come home.

Usability and saving new users is much easier.

Does anyone here have experience with the ekey dLine?
Has anyone installed it here?

The ekey sensor from dLine, xLine, and sLine are supposed to be the same.

where did you get the info?
Can you tell the name of the shop/website?

Hello everyone,

please help me out with the front door. I really tried to look into it but I’m not getting anywhere. We want to order our front door and are tied to a larger building materials retailer through the general contractor. Basically, they offer all the regular stuff, including well-known mid-range manufacturers (e.g. Hörmann, I forgot the second one). But the advice is really bad and there is very little input or "offers" beyond the brochure.

Aluminum
Inside outside with filling (is that what it’s called when the inside is also "flush"? )
Concealed hinges (very expensive)

Here I’m stuck and ask for information:
1. I would like a lock that is "automatically" always "locked". Is that possible mechanically or electrically? Pros and cons?
2. We said at the appointment we want a fingerprint, but it’s not urgently needed. I read here that it is not very secure? Best no outdoor unit? I read about Ekey here, how does that work? How should the "ordered door" be configured for that? Alternative access technologies? If fingerprint etc., then the door lock must be electric?

Thanks for the info and best regards GD

Regarding the automatic locking: We have a Köster aluminum front door with a "5-point locking AUTO-TRONIC" Semi-motorized. Pulling the door shut = locked. I am very satisfied with that. I do have a fingerprint scanner, but I no longer use it; the keycard or token on the phone keychain works faster and more reliably, especially in winter. The "Module IP Video door intercom fingerprint module" was also only about 100€ at HEK. The "RFID module for the modular outdoor station" was also inexpensive with only about 40€ at HEK ;-)

So we had the Ekey Integra fingerprint scan almost flush with the door at the side entrance door including the Auto-Tronic lock. At the front door, the fingerprint scan was flush with the door from Fuhr including the Multitronic 881, and we were very satisfied with both systems for over 10 years. They only work with a motor lock, of course. If someone wants to get into the house, they are more likely to break a glass of the patio door….
