Hello everyone,

We are moving a short wall which does not necessarily have to be load-bearing, but since we do not know exactly how the ceiling is constructed, it should not be completely removed. Additionally, kitchen cabinets will be hung on the wall. It does not need to provide sound insulation. Thickness will be 10 or 12.5 cm.

Which type of brick would you recommend? I think aerated concrete is too weak. I would have guessed sand-lime brick, but honestly, I have little knowledge in this area. N.B. Possibly a conduit must still be laid inside it.

Thanks for all the tips

That is already wrong. Either it supports load or it doesn't. If not, I would do drywall, then cables or pipes fit inside. If yes, hands off.

The wall structure is specified by the static analysis.

She should be able to carry. Whether she will actually bear a load is questionable. Or at least not much.

Whether you are really standing correctly...

If you tear down a load-bearing wall, the ceiling can collapse. That would make you a candidate for the Darwin Award, provided you haven't fathered any children yet. So off to the structural engineer and they will tell you what you can move and how.

There is no maybe in statics. If it is supposed to bear weight, there must also be something to support above it. Beams, walls, or similar. If it carried weight before, it cannot simply be removed. Simply relocating it is also not possible. No idea, then consult a structural engineer.
