Which beautiful ornamental shrubs do you have or can you recommend?

Do you have any shrubs in the garden that you particularly like because they bloom beautifully, have a nice leaf color, a nice growth habit, etc.? Can you recommend something that also grows relatively dense at the bottom?

There was already a topic in which many shrubs were mentioned. I wanted to remember it back then (about a year ago?) and it's slowly time to look it up, as we will probably be able to plant in autumn. :-)

Here it was:

My favorite at my parents' place at home is the Weigela. Deutzia appeals to me very much as well, as do various types of Spiraea. Just google through Bieber's list, I will probably make extensive use of it ;-)

Thank you, I will google all the ornamental shrubs. If anyone has more ideas or pictures, feel free to share them. It is always difficult to choose something in the garden center when there is only a small plant with a few branches and you can't see what it will look like later. Many shrubs also grow very tall and the bottom two meters end up bare.
