Where to buy IKEA mattress protector SKYDDA LÄTT (90x200 cm)?

The mattress protector SKYDDA LÄTT (90x200 cm) 4.99€ is indeed advertised in the current catalog, but you cannot buy this item. That is extremely unfortunate. Even a replacement item at the same price for the mattress protector is not available at Ikea Nuremberg. That is what you call customer unfriendly. Unfortunately, I had to ride my bike 20 km back home without this item. On the way home, I passed by Matratzen Concord and lo and behold, I got a mattress protector. It is somewhat more expensive, but I have one.

Look at it this way - 20 km is not a distance - so it was just light exercise. :D - and that never hurts.....

I am just wondering if I have the need to rant about a well-known sports retail chain, the salesperson managed to chew gum so loudly and with an open mouth that I had to walk away and leave my husband alone (just briefly of course ;.)))) ) Also, the guy had no clue at all.... :D But oops - that would be something I would have to discuss directly with the respective sports store, because anything else wouldn't help - except that I vented a bit..... By the way, I have mattress protectors - of course from Ikea. :D

The current catalog 2010 "... valid until Aug. 27, 2010" has a small mistake.
The "from ..." is missing.
If no from - until is shown exactly, how is the customer supposed to know from when the catalog is valid.
Thus, Ikea circumvents the minimum one-month advance notice for the products.

The best part is that I was already at Ikea Fürth about 14 days ago. Among other things, I wanted to buy 2 mattress protectors SKYDDA LÄTT (90x200 cm) at €4.99 each. The responsible department employee called over told me that the article is currently out of stock, but will be back in about 14 days. I asked the person for an equivalent or higher-value replacement for the out-of-stock article. The answer I got was, "there is no replacement." But that is not true, there is a replacement SKYDDA HÖGT mattress protector 90x200 cm for €14.99 each. I would have come halfway and taken only one replacement mattress protector.
That would have been fair from me and Ikea. I would have left as a satisfied customer.

You are right about the 20 km bike ride, it was a nice sport and I am still at Greuther Teeladen (Martin Bauer) in the Fürth stadium (passed by). Since I am out here anyway...

It is just annoying. You go to Ikea and then they don’t have the advertised goods...

Matratzen Concord is a mattress specialty store chain and not a sports specialty store chain. This info on the side.
