Where is the roller shutter box, where am I allowed to drill?

we would like to hang curtains but there are blinds everywhere in the rooms. Does anyone know how far the blind boxes extend? We would rather not drill in the wrong place. The strap is already installed a bit away from the window, so I would assume at the position of the strap and then nothing more

Knock on the box. You can usually hear quite well where the box ends.

Based on the identical problem, we screwed the rods / slats to the ceiling and used corresponding spacer rods to then have them at the appropriate height...

You are right. However, the right wall is slanted and the curtain probably would no longer completely cover the window. I would simply check where exactly the box ends and drill there.
