No one knows exactly why this thanks doesn't quite seem to come from my heart. I also have a friend who knows how to spell anesthesia. If you manage to build a house from only two ingredients (a little help and 42.5 plan bricks), you should definitely write a bestseller about it afterwards. is just as right here as

Dear 11ant,

thank you also for your concern about my project.
It is not that I asked here how to build a house but where to get cheap bricks.
If it is a requirement for you that one has to provide proof of being able to lay bricks in order to buy bricks, then just don’t post anything instead of torpedoing my question...

It seems to me that you are a psychologist. Maybe you should get involved in a psychology forum?

And exactly for that you have already received the only correct answer – and since I am not a psychologist I cannot fathom why this message hasn’t reached you:

... which I would read in two dimensions: on the one hand as “he does that (professionally), you don’t need to worry about it,” but also as “and he partly lives off the margin on the material (and if you cut that margin, you become unattractive as a customer for him).”

Hopefully you didn’t expect the answer here, “with the Shell discount card you get the 42.5 bricks at Baustoff Müller this month for the 36.5 price”?

No, I don’t need it this month at all... so if there are bricks at Shell next month, then bring them on.

At the moment, no craftsman in southern Germany should probably accept a job that isn’t extremely worthwhile. If he does it anyway, then he is doing something wrong...

I guess I'm still missing the idea of what answer you were hoping for: "my buddy Günni will get you the stone as a reimport from Liechtenstein, then you can save on VAT," or are you looking for a special Porenziegel price comparison app?

The building materials trade is just organized the way it is. Through the wholesale trade, you, as a consumer, simply get the worst prices. Just go to BayWa (which is a building materials trade here and not just a hardware store) and get some advice. Maybe you'll get a discount scale if you also buy reinforcement, paving, etc. Don't underestimate construction site logistics and trips for building materials. In my opinion, that is the reason why the wholesale structure has survived the internet age.
