Full repayment over 20 years results in 1.88% at Hypo Vereinsbank.
Installment at a ridiculously low €646.75, total interest costs €25,186.
With that income, I would repay a bit more.
For example, full repayment over 15 years is available for 1.31%, also at Hypo. Installment then still at a very comfortable €796.08, total interest costs at €12,867.

I don't want to be presumptuous, but are you sure about the gross and net? Kaufm. Ang. with 35 and 4000 net ... you wouldn't even get that anymore in the automotive industry. Not even the old contracts...

It doesn't matter at all with the amounts here. The range of professions that fall under 'commercial employee' is quite broad.

True, you're right :)

Well, you can always ask, right?
It's not the first time something like this has been confused.
And if you’re still asking about conditions at 130000, that thought doesn’t go away.
With those salaries, I couldn't care less... I wouldn’t even calculate it, wouldn’t deal with EL nor consider 20 years, but would rather deal with "design floors" ;)

Why do people with "less" money constantly believe that just because someone earns more, economic activity must stop? Is it because they live in abundance or what? Have you ever thought that only economic activity has created income in higher amounts? Or as Grandpa said: having money comes from keeping money.
