Everyone, especially the painters and plasterers, except for the [floor layers]

The craft services all worked perfectly. However, it was especially important that the construction companies always kept their word. My construction folder is very thin, there is hardly any correspondence, just a few WhatsApp messages. Everything was verbal, and the sentence "I never said that" never came up. The spoken word was always remembered and put into action. That's how it should be, then construction is no stress.

Our painters were great. They had to put up with quite a lot from the tiler working alongside them (so did we). He made a terrible mess. The electrician was also very good. We were simply on the same wavelength. He did his craft and I handled the KNX stuff. Like a bad situation on top of another. But the master was enthusiastic about it, and his journeyman and apprentice were no fools either. Thinkers in the best sense. The only trade for which I didn’t get any comparative offers. That was the one I wanted to do it with.

So far really everything - only with the electrician did we have to follow up several times. He never wrote anything down and that sometimes led to problems because occasionally we really had special requests. But those were really peanuts and we could always talk well with him - it’s just sometimes annoying when you have to say things two or three times (and you yourself always assume it will work if you say it once). The execution itself was also first-class - so there’s nothing to complain about.

So far, we can't complain, only with electrical work and kitchen construction were several repeated discussions necessary until our "special requests" could be implemented accordingly.

Construction work is going flawlessly so far, I am also on the construction site at least twice a day and just chat casually with the craftsmen.

Compared to other builders in our construction area, we probably take a somewhat more intensive approach to the whole matter, but we also trust the expertise of the craftsmen (which we lack).
