Hello everyone,

I am currently looking for a flooring and some time ago I visited a house where I really liked the floor.

However, no one could provide information about what type of floor it is.

Therefore, I would like to use collective intelligence and maybe someone can point me in the right direction. According to my research, it could be something like Doussie/Afzelia.

Thank you very much!

I think it looks like Merbau.

Could be cherry. Acacia would be wilder. It is not coniferous wood.

I would rather guess some kind of oiled oak - but cherry would also be possible. Unfortunately, the picture quality is not so great ...

No oak. The grain doesn’t match (nor the color and the size). Merbau, cherry, doussie or similar. I would go to the parquet studio with it.

It is definitely not oak, I guess steamed American cherry. or European and expensive. Edit, yes, Meerbau can also be very well.
