Hello,
what would be approximately the minimum size for a house connection room for a gas-solar thermal combination with buffer storage?
Is it true that due to the humidity, washing machines and dryers should not be placed in the same room as the condensing boiler system?

You can already read about dryers and washing machines in some places... but is that really true? We will also have heating and appliances in one room.
Space requirements are somewhat individual - if you puzzle it out (probably requires good planning) maybe about 5 m² is enough - if you want to have everything together in one room with a drying rack and possibly an iron, freezer, and drying rack and maybe even a shoe cabinet for garden shoes, then about 12 m² would be more advisable. Everything in between, but also more, is certainly possible.

Good morning,

To be honest, I never understand why such a fuss is made about every centimeter of a HCR ...?

A reasonably usable HCR should not be less than 8.00 sqm. There are, among other things, good reasons to leave enough space in front of a boiler or distribution box. Space so that, for example, an electrician can "fall backwards" in case of emergency without hitting their head on a built-in component. That naturally means, if washing machines, dryers & co. are to find space in the room, nothing works under 10.00 sqm; 12.00 sqm would be better.

Please think of the craftsmen who have to carry out maintenance later and thus also of your wallet! If fittings have to be removed in a time-consuming manner first in order to carry out maintenance/repair, the flat rate for maintenance quickly goes "down the drain."

Rhenish regards

Our house connection room is not quite 4m2. But without [Waschmaschine] and [Trockner]. And you can access all devices without dismantling anything else or twisting yourself. And as for the space in front of the distribution box, there is a regulation that must be complied with.

Most of the time it's about the money ... . For us, it will be 10 m² for everything (connections, electrical, heat pump, controlled residential ventilation, washing machine, ...).

Are you sure you don’t understand it?
Technology is a necessary evil – for the square meters saved, you get even more space in the sacred wing (as you so nicely put it )
The only ones who value more space are either those who prefer to make arrangements with the washing machine or those for whom functionality through common workflows is important.
