Good day!
For my first house 20 years ago, I implemented the following wall structure: 24 cm inner shell made of Liapor solid wall elements (system Lechner Massivhaus), 6 cm mineral insulation, 4 cm air gap, and 11.5 cm clinker brick. The clinker shell is connected to the inner shell by many wire anchors. After 20 years, I can say that this is probably a very good solution.
In case I build again, I am considering doing it very similarly, only this time I might make the inner shell even thicker. What would be the better overall solution now? 36 cm inner shell, 6 cm insulation, 4 cm air gap, and then the clinker? Or is 36 cm Liapor already enough to just place the clinker in front with only an air gap?
