If you have no leeway due to your construction contract with the general contractor, then that is unfortunate. A revision of the planning towards Flow30 might cost 250 euros. Then a larger heating circuit distributor with more heating circuits and labor and material for closer pipe spacing can be obtained from the heating engineer for a small amount of money. Overall, I would see costs of a maximum of 1000 to 1500 euros. But the general contractor turns that into 4 or 5 thousand euros.

Regarding question 2, I cannot follow the argument about the higher supply temperature for cooling purposes. Regarding question 1, I seriously and very concernedly wonder how much of the general knowledge commonly taught in schools "in my time" must have been lost to even develop such a plan without realizing what kind of thoughts one must have smoked *shakes head*

the revision of the planning is rather around 750 euros - independent of the general contractor. But let the overall additional costs be "only" 2000 euros. It will still take between 10 and 20 years for these additional costs to pay off. And this does not include either photovoltaics or the fact that you could invest the 2000 euros now, which would significantly delay the payback period further.

you talked about the entire planning. That also refers to heating. Unfortunately, your other statement doesn’t help me. Can you specifically name what the catastrophic consequences of the planning are? I am absolutely aware that the planning has significant potential for improvement. But this potential for improvement always goes towards a lower flow temperature for heating possible and maybe a somewhat better cooling effect. If you see other disadvantages arising from this planning, I would be very happy if you could explain them.

Well, I have seen worse calculations. The only obvious disaster is once again the bathroom. And it's not just the pipe spacing but especially the circuit length. Over 100m, especially in the bathroom, is really not good. The 150W undercoverage is already noted and is probably even higher in reality. At least split it into two circuits. That only costs one extra valve. How does it look in the shower/WC room downstairs? That looks catastrophically short...

No heating load calculation is in vain... even if it only serves as a bad example in times of 2024.
