What is a roadside tree planting? Who has heard of it before?

I like the view of trees, but tastes are known to differ... It wouldn't bother me, enough sunlight does come through.

So we live right next to the forest and I cannot understand his concerns that a tree or a row of trees would cause you to get no more sun.

We have exactly 1.5 hours of shade on the terrace in summer, even though we live next to a fully grown forest. They usually don’t produce that much shade, at least not in a residential area.

... moreover, of course, the trees must be selected according to their type: on a main street of a big city, completely different trees (larger ones) are planted than in a new residential area where people settle. For us, there is a standard tree planted every 10 meters... very nice to look at and no shade
Most remain at a height of 5-7 meters

In all the new development areas here, unfortunately no trees are planted anymore. I think the land is simply too expensive. And I find that very sad .....
