Hello!

We are currently in the planning phase of a house.... have already spoken with various FH providers and are looking at where savings can be made. For example, dry construction was estimated at €25,000. However, that is only the labor cost. The material is supplied by the FH company. Now my question(s):
a) What does dry construction include?
b) How many labor hours can I roughly expect for dry construction with approximately 164 sqm of living space?

Thanks in advance

Usually, this includes the installation of insulation, cladding with drywall, subsequent filling, pipe boxing, etc.

With drywall, however, we also get, for example, the sliding door running within the wall covered, and our projector as well as the screen in the living room will virtually "disappear" into the drywall.

Some builders also have the walls on the upper floor constructed with drywall.

There are versatile application possibilities.

Exactly this "etc" is what I would like to know....this is the first time I'm building. Therefore, I have no idea what it includes.

Hello Lynyah, I think only the respective provider can give you an exact answer. The providers differ significantly in prefabrication at the factory. I myself have assisted different friends slightly with drywall construction... Once a provider from the cheaper category and once a good mid-range. With one provider, really only the bare shell was put up. The client had imagined it differently. The planned schedule could not be maintained. I would also clarify to what extent the acceptance of the trades takes place. Best regards Fanta

The "etc" can refer to different things depending on the prefabricated house provider or house supplier. The posters before me have already mentioned this: we don't know if you have drywall in your house, how many dormers are clad, and in what quality the sanding, for example, is listed in your provider's construction service description.

But since it's about savings, meaning the consideration of what you could do yourself, I advise you not to do anything yourself here if the labor cost is already 25,000. How do you want to achieve this value as non-professionals? Just as a guideline: we handled the smoothing from Q2 roughly to Q4 ourselves in the upper floor and took almost a week doing so.
If it were only one wall, I would immediately set it up myself.

It's like with the term "Schlüsselfertig," everyone understands something different by it...
