Leather is expensive and unusable for both small children and pets. Otherwise, it of course looks very good, but I tend to prefer other fabrics.

Hello, microfiber armchairs are much easier to care for nowadays. Just wipe them once with a damp sponge and the stain is usually gone. In serious cases, a little dish soap does the trick and everything is like new. From an animal rights perspective, microfiber is of course better and it's also more comfortable! So no leather! :)

Hello Lolo,

definitely leather armchairs! Until a few years ago, I had a microfiber armchair and was not satisfied at all. Leather is easier to care for and lasts better!

So my parents have leather armchairs made of some kind of scratch-resistant leather (some pretty thick, sturdy stuff), and even after 20 years of cats, we as kids couldn’t "destroy" anything. It was always very comfortable to sit on, even when it was warm.

For me, only microfiber comes into question for daily use. However, if you want something fine, for example, then of course a leather sofa. It also depends on whether you have a family with small children or live alone and do not use the sofa that much.
