Is that allowed in Germany?

I (again) only say: Geese!

Is it forbidden? Where in my house I store my bear trap and whether it is set or not is my business, right?

Geese are too disloyal, I would be afraid of them myself. But very good as an alarm, that's true.

For the windows in all accessible areas, i.e. the ground floor and on balconies and garages / carports, I would consider the security class. Resistance Class RC 2N would be the minimum for me, maybe even RC3, although then I would need it everywhere and that can quickly become expensive.

You can, but you absolutely don't have to. These statements are not part of the minimum requirements!!!! The prescribed ones! The question is what you are aiming for: protection? technology? comfort?

City neurotic. Bungalow, two or three smoke detectors from Lidl are enough. Otherwise, a system according to regulations, nothing burns there. With the new cooktops, you can no longer forget the stove, they turn off by themselves. Fence with a constantly locked gate and exactly one like this in the whole settlement, who moved here from Hamburg. Just a city neurotic.

Breaking in is not allowed either. With a hit, at least it’s a draw 1:1! The problem is that usually the operator themselves, family members, or visitors become victims of some measures. The bullet from the revolver under the pillow rarely hits the intruder in the backside; mostly it ends up, due to mishandling or stupidity, hitting those one actually wanted to protect.
