We are looking for a solid house provider

Because the name D&Z came up here: We are currently building with them as well, in Sersheim near Ludwigsburg. There is also a thread about it here, but so far we seem to be the only ones from the forum building with D&Z. They do build quite a lot each year. Our experience with D&Z so far is very positive. We got the plot from a kind of agent who was very unreliable (see thread), but since the company D&Z has been directly involved, everything is progressing very quickly. We are not building a single-family house, but a semi-detached house. It costs about €194,000 and is standard. With a few small special requests, we are just under €197,000. We think that is okay. They also have a show (terrace) house in Vaihingen (Enz). However, I don’t know if they also build single-family houses. On their homepage, I usually only see terraced houses and sometimes semi-detached houses.

Hello everyone, we have found a property in Ortenau (BW) that we like exceptionally well, will buy it next week, and want to build a single-family house on it. It is to be a solid house. Now we are looking for a company that offers turnkey construction. At first, we thought of Town & Country. But we didn’t like the floor plans there, and apparently you can’t get custom-designed houses there. Initially, I asked a construction company directly in the town. But it is so expensive that it really is not an option. When I compare the prices with those of other companies, I can add almost €100,000 to that. Now we are considering Schuckhardt, Massivhaus-Zentrum, Helma, D&Z, and Bau’72. Can someone recommend a company or urgently advise against one? What exactly must be considered? Thanks in advance.

Despite some corona-related situations, we have now finished our single-family house. Our partner was the company Schuckhardt. Planning and implementation went so far so good – the construction partners – well, but still successfully and executed on time.
