WC ceramic height from finished floor level?

Toilet bowls with seat 46 and 47.
Washbasin in the guest WC 92 and in the bathroom 91.

Ah great, thanks!! The master plumber said max. 48cm (top edge of the ceramic) would be possible according to DIN and he recommended that to us, but that seemed too high to me when I measured 48cm next to the toilet with the tape measure and then the seat also goes on top.. I'm only 1.64m tall, then I'd be hanging there like a toddler in the air :D :D

We decided on rather lower so that we don't need a squatty potty. :cool:

only kids need that and they grow (much faster than you think).. My "little one" at 10 years old is just a few cm shorter than me :D

I wouldn't make it too high.

When the decision was pending with us, I sat on a chair to test it and measured it, then thought about whether we want it lower or higher. You can't just rely on height, the leg length can still be different. And usually, you don't live alone. For me alone, I would make it 1 to 2 cm lower. 48 as the top edge of the ceramic would be too high for me.

We actually had the opportunity to try sitting at several different heights during the sampling in the showroom :) I think we finally decided on the compromise height of 44 cm + [Brille] (at 158 / 178 cm :)) and everyone, including the children, gets along well with it. Basically, you should go rather lower than too high.
