Hello everyone, what should the optimal water temperature in the tank be? We have been living in the house for 6 weeks. I always see the temperature between 52 and 40 degrees. I also think the installer said he sets it to a maximum of 52 degrees. Is that enough regarding germ formation, etc.? P.S.: Another question on the side: How/where can I see the flow temperature of the underfloor heating?

In the ros a forum, 50 degrees is always recommended with a 6-degree hysteresis. Please note that if a circulation is installed, your tank cools down quickly and the heat pump cycles. I had problems with this because I set blocking times at night. In the morning, the water was occasionally at 35 degrees.

Which air-water heat pump is installed?

What kind of boiler is installed? With fresh water or storage?

Okay, then it seems to fit after all. I always assumed 60 degrees once a week or something similar to prevent the issue.

We don't have circulation. I have already missed that. But with your statement, I can cross it off.

The boiler should be this one. Elco VISTRON H-4. I don't know exactly from memory, but the picture fits.
Our heat pump is ELCO Aerotop Split 07M-R. Besides the 300L storage tank, we also have a 100L buffer tank and a 30-liter expansion vessel. It all seems quite large to me.

Double storage? I think that's nonsense, I even believe I read that it would be advantageous to shut it down. But there are experts who have been trained for that and can say more about it.

Circulation is just comfort but costs; we were at over 5000 kW for 250m2 after optimization by shutting down the err and thermal balancing, it looks like we will end up around 3500 this year, okay the winter was warm.

But money saved and I am Swabian

The circulation should also not run 24 hours a day.

The circulation had a learning function, but it probably conflicted with my shift work.
