Hello everyone,

quick question:
Do we have the right for the water tank to be installed in the location as shown and discussed in the contract (drawing)?

Background:
An 800L buffer tank is a condition for the purchased drinking water station, but it doesn’t fit under the stairs.
The house is designed tightly and another location for the tank is impossible for us, according to the builder reasonable.
The only alternative under the stairs is a 400L tank, but then without the drinking water station.

From my point of view, the performance of the station and the buffer is not delivered this way?
Therefore, in my view at least the price for the station including installation must be credited?

The builder offers me a credit of €500, since his costs would be reduced by this amount.

Thank you very much for your help!

Hello,

What other installation location does your provider have in mind?

Maybe you could describe the technology you want to install in more detail. And for me, if you don't mind, why you want to have a drinking water station. I find the costs noticeably high for the fact that a sip of water flows preheated from the pipe; for that there is almost already a potable water heat pump.

That depends on what expectations you have for the buffer tank.

That cannot be answered in general. If an 800L tank cannot be installed at the intended location due to lack of space, the provider must show you alternatives. If you reject the alternative for personal reasons, you are in a dilemma because two opinions conflict.

Who originally intended the installation location? Your design planner or your provider?

Rhenish regards
