Hello everyone,
I have a question about the installation of pre-wall installations on drywall (see pictures), our wall is double boarded,
the upper screwing of the pre-wall bracket was only fixed to the back wall with two simple battens, is this done?
Is that normal? That looks very odd to me, more patchwork than professional work, as if it were shoddy construction, don’t you use crossbars for that?

In the bathroom, a U-profile was also cut out in the middle to attach the fittings, if I now pull firmly on the fitting the whole wall wobbles, that can’t be right, can it? I must note that the drywall walls are only boarded on one side for now, so that the electrician can still do his work there, it could be that it will be rock solid once the other side is boarded, I’m just not an expert.

Can someone give me a tip?

Thank you very much!

The profile manufacturer will definitely get short of breath - cutting out side walls is not allowed! If no other cable routing is possible, a splice (cross reinforcement) must be installed there.

Wooden bottom edge is often used, but in your case it looks very improvised - there are actually better ready-made solutions, e.g. Leifeld UniBlock. Even better is the fastening to CW profiles, e.g. with clamp holder rails or similar (Leifeld also offers various systems).

Thank you very much, then I will make sure that the profile is replaced there and done properly, I will take a look at the clamping holder rails and order them, if necessary I will install them myself.

For the clamping rails, it is probably too late; they usually have to be wrapped around the profiles - so this must be done before the sheathing.

Theoretically, you can bend a mounting rail to size, screw it on the left and right of the profile so that it has the corresponding depth for the wall panels in the end. But the sanitary installers should actually know this / have it ready on the shelf...

Thank you for the tip, I showed the problem to the drywall installer and after shaking his head, thank God he was able to fix it. He added a profile for reinforcement there. Hope it all holds up
