Water-bearing fireplace

Hello

we are planning to install a water-bearing fireplace in our new building.
It should be integrated into our heating system.
What is the opinion / experience on whether this really makes a difference...?
What size of the water storage tank would be appropriate?

We are building a Kfw70 house, incl. underfloor heating.

Yes, well: First and foremost, you have to be aware that a fireplace always produces some dirt/soot, but a water-bearing one that is connected to the heating system is probably the best you can do. Gas to wood and off you go :-))

I really have two people in my close circle of friends who have one like that. One has a new building, the other an old house renovated. With high heating demand, it really pays off. If you still have good access to firewood, it's just cool. How many sqm do you have? I can ask what kind of water storage they have.

p.s. I will completely renovate Grandma's house this year and there will definitely be one installed.
