One of the best decisions throughout the entire house was to have the sewage pipes installed with Skolan db. We have a direct comparison to our neighbors, who have standard HT pipes; the difference in noise is significant. Additional cost: 685.00 euros for 2 bathrooms, 1 guest WC, and 1 kitchen. The only drawback is that they are somewhat thicker than the normal pipes. Furthermore, instead of the Geberit Kombifix element, the Geberit Sanbloc element was installed in our WCs, which also emits significantly less noise. I can only recommend paying attention to sound insulation in your own house! If your builder writes that he builds according to VDI 4000 sound insulation level II or even III, that sounds good at first, but it only benefits your neighbors, since it concerns noise in other apartments/houses! Sound insulation within your own house must be agreed upon separately!
