Diffusion-open is just a fixed threshold (sd <= 0.5). I don't know the specific products. When I researched back then, cellulose-based nonwovens were definitely rated with a lower SD value than glass fiber nonwovens. If you have found specific products that are different, that's okay. Yes, the higher price is also an issue.

Thanks. Glass fiber fleece has an SD of less than 0.01 and the adhesive 0.02. The primer is at 0.05. Sounds plausible to me.

I believe you, but out of curiosity, where did you find the data? In the technical data sheets on the homepage, there is nothing about that...

type the 3 letters and silicate products pdf into Google search. Then the first result is a PDF from the manufacturer's site. May I also link the PDF here?

I was at Sto and downloaded the PDF Technical Data Sheet, Safety Data Sheet and the Declaration of Performance there. I didn’t find an SD value?! Ah found it. Strange that they print that in a general brochure in the product-specific datasheet but not...
