Hello,

we are considering installing vinyl throughout the entire ground floor and upper floor of our new building, except for the bathrooms. Which is better, click vinyl or glue-down vinyl?
Thank you.

With underfloor heating, it should probably be glued, do you have underfloor heating?

Yes, we have underfloor heating. Unfortunately, the decor we like, Spruce Concrete, is only available in the click version and no longer as glue-down. We are unfortunately dependent on the manufacturer Tilo because we have an internal staircase directly in the dining room and wanted a harmonious solution here, i.e., the same decor on the ground floor and staircase. Tilo is, besides Corpet, the only manufacturer of stair edge profiles known to us. We do not want edge rails on the stairs for aesthetic reasons.

Direction south with large windows/doors - definitely seal. There is probably a lot of movement behind it.

Hello,
I'm going to join in here. We also have underfloor heating and are planning vinyl. What is the reason for choosing an adhesive variant here?

I have it on the ground floor. It was thinner and completely resistant to moisture. In addition, large areas could be laid without an expansion joint.
