Video: Is the Lagan extractor hood defective?

we are satisfied with the kitchen, but the extractor hood LAGAN does not manage to suck in the rising steam. I'm really crazy. Because I made a video about it. What do you think? It doesn't work properly - does it?

I didn’t watch the video all the way to the end ...

1. You don’t turn on a range hood only when the water is boiling; rule of thumb: pot on the stove = hood on, so that an air column can first build up, this applies to both exhaust and recirculation operation.
2. There are hoods with different power levels, maybe you bought a hood that is too weak?
3. Boiling water in a pot without a lid = highest power level, with lid = second highest level, without lid more steam, requires more power from the hood.
4. Is the hood correctly set to exhaust or recirculation at the air outlet on the motor? By design, it should be a hood where you can switch between exhaust and recirculation inside.
5. After cooking, let the hood run for another 10 minutes, the filter, interior, and air ducts will thank you.

Just a tip, keep the lid on the pot, then induction cooking will go even faster and save electricity costs ;)

PS: why I didn’t watch the video all the way through, well, I’m an amateur photographer and have made videos too, but your video is more for documentation and not for a competition or family screening.
