Do you dare to insulate the house from the outside yourself (with friends or possibly classifieds)? Then you can do it for "pocket money." The material for a KfW55 envelope will be well under 10,000€. Insulation, adhesive, dowels, mineral plaster, mineral paint, reveals, aluminum window sills.

So I am confident in insulating the facade and then cladding it, I have done a lot on my own here. The problem is that our roof does not overhang everywhere, so the insulation at the top will not be protected. Otherwise, I would have done it already.

How annoying. So no 12cm overhang on the gable sides (60s house?). So it’s more complicated to create the overhang.
