We still have the possibility to realize both. However, based on gut feeling, we would rather decide in favor of the ones permanently mounted at the window if there are no reasons against them.

Does that mean you are still at the stage where, regarding ring beams / lintels / roller shutter boxes, there is still free choice whether the vacation should go to the sea or to the mountains? In the new building, I would – as said, if this does not result in rewriting the score for the ring beam–lintel matter – provide the cassette awning boxes at the same location where the other windows on the same floor have their roller shutter boxes. In this point, I would make it clear to the planner (and hopefully also the site manager) that “does not matter” is the wrong answer – because, as with the wall material, every contractor has their preference and associated routine with one variant or another, and it is therefore not advisable to choose the other one. For other contributors, it might also be useful to mention whether we are talking about an ETICS or plaster or brick facade.
