Thank you very much. Usually, it is only free of charge once a year. My approach was, because we currently receive a fixed annual payment at work and 4 months later another success-based one. We always want to pay these in as special repayments, and it would have been nice if you could do this twice a year - free of charge. Because then the interest on the repaid loan is always paid, which can result in a good shortening and interest saving at the end of the approximately planned term of 18 years without special repayment.

CAP loans could be a middle ground.

At 1.5% interest and a special repayment 4 months later, this results in exactly 5 € interest savings per year and per 1000€. On the other hand, you could now calculate that if you park the money in the meantime in a Tagesgeld at 0.5%, it results in an interest gain of 1.66€. Even if it were 10,000€, that is a total of 33€ interest savings per year and 600€ interest savings over 18 years. This is not really relevant now, especially if, in return, your interest rate might slightly increase.

Yes. We will do it that way with 1 free repayment per year and that’s fine. Just wanted to know if it is offered free of charge by some... But if you had the rumored 10K... you would be finished paying off much earlier.... That would save a lot then.

Where is the problem? The money you have is saved annually in an investment. Then the loan is paid off and the daily allowance account or whatever is refilled again. The few euros you can save if you put it into the loan immediately really don't matter.
