Hello I would like to ask if there are providers besides [KFW] that offer variable repayment periods. So that you can make extra repayments several times a year starting from a certain amount... With [KFW], you can repay over 1000 euros at any time. We are looking for something similar from "normal" mortgage providers... Or is it simply normal that you can only repay once a year? Thank you

Hello,

yes, it is normal because a bank wants a "secure" cash flow. If everyone repays in small installments, it becomes complicated with a monitoring b refinancing.

is it really the case that you can repay 1000 at any time?

It is probably more the fear that the 1,000 euros, if they are there, will be spent elsewhere ;-)

You can be quite creative with your bank when drafting the contracts, but they won't necessarily be cheaper then.

With Ing-Diba, you can make prepayments of at least 1250 euros several times a year, up to a total amount of 5% of the loan.

Best regards

You need to be more precise about which KfW loan you mean. For example, with program 124, no special repayments are possible.
