Vapor barrier roof - tape stapler nails?

Our roofer is doing it. Our drywall installer said that according to some DIN standard, it is no longer (required?). I would just do it myself, it's just busy work.

If you have doubts and some time, it would be easy to do that yourself with a roll of Sicrall tape

Just do that yourselves afterwards. It will cost you about 30 € and 1-2 hours of work. I find the company's statement regarding competitiveness quite ridiculous.
