Using wind power privately, is that possible with a mini wind turbine?

the link is really very helpful. That could explain why wind turbines are hardly ever seen in private areas.

Yes, that is possible. Some farms here have done it that way.

However, you must observe some laws if you want to have such a wind turbine.

As with everything, it only pays off in a windy area. In the Black Forest on an exposed hill, it's great, but probably less so in the valley! If the wind only occurs when the sun is gone, but the sun shines extremely often, the wind turbine has a poor cost/benefit ratio ;-)

What I find brilliant is that if a body of water runs through the property, you can install a turbine or a mini water wheel that provides electricity day and night and in any weather!
