Use Z15 loan for demolition and new construction

I got the Z15 loan and wanted to renovate my house. The effort for the renovation is skyrocketing (threshold beams, other beams, and the overall appearance of the timber frame are not so good). Will the bank allow the loan for the demolition and for a new prefabricated house? Is the Z15 financing even only connected to the renovation?

Your post is already older. We are currently facing the same problem. For the costs of the renovation, we could demolish and rebuild. How did you decide? Are you renovating now or is there a way to have the existing building demolished despite the Z15 loan? I look forward to an answer. Regards

We were also in contact with the L-Bank, for us it was sufficient that the architect confirmed that a renovation would not be financially worthwhile due to the building fabric etc.

Hello, thank you for your reply. Have you spoken to the L-Bank when you already had a positive decision for the Z15 loan or had you already received the loan? It is practically a significant change to the application. And you don’t want everything to be processed again and in the end the loan to be withdrawn.
