Use granite palisades and studded membrane for raised bed?

It was sealed on the sides with sealing tape. [Noppenbahn] is also in place. Root watering via bubbler. The tree is now about 60 years old or so. One should just not seal at the bottom and ensure there is enough space for the roots. Attached are old pictures.
