Reset and rebind. It's not that difficult. I would always prefer controllers. You can still operate it via the app. Without your passwords, you simply can't log in.

Sorry for barging in with my question here. If you already run a 24/7 server anyway, is there still any reason to have your own controller, or does the software have the same capabilities so I can save myself the additional controller?

Software on the server and that's it. The [Cloudkey] is then not necessary.

If the APs are set up and you do not operate login pages for the WLAN, the controller software does not need to run for the further operation of the devices. With 7/24 you still have the statistics. For me, the software has now been running on a RaspberryPi for 3 weeks; before, I only started it on the PC when I wanted to make some settings.

It is important to make the configuration only from one device. Not the app today and the PC tomorrow. At the beginning, I looked at the app once and immediately uninstalled it again. It may have improved meanwhile, but I would only do the configuration via the controller software. If you move the software from one PC to another PC, you can make a backup of everything with the settings and transfer it to the new one.

I have a Windows Server for AD, file server, VMs for playing around, etc., hence my question. I would then just go on it remotely.
