Good day everyone,

I have a small understanding problem with the [Energieeinsparverordnung]. Please help.

We want to build a house according to [Kfw 70], our structural engineer/architect has done the calculations for us. The building application has already been approved and we have the permission. Which [Energieeinsparverordnung] applies now? The structural engineer calculated according to the [Energieeinsparverordnung 2014] (from 11.10.2013), where Qp max = 52.3 (kWh/m²a) and H T max = 0.333 (W/m²K), I think these values only apply from 01.01.2016, am I mistaken?

Thank you.

Hello,

When the building application is approved, the current Energy Saving Ordinance 2014 applies; by the way, this is valid on a transitional basis until 31.03.2016.

So everything is fine. ;)

Rhenish greetings

Thank you for the reply Bauexperte. I have one more question, is a solar system with heating support worthwhile? Because it would be necessary to achieve [Kfw 70], but I wonder how everyone else achieves [KFW 70] with a gas condensing boiler and solar system only for hot water.

Hello,

Personally, I don't believe in that ;)

It should also work with a controlled residential ventilation system with heat recovery, as long as you're not planning to build on the Brocken :D

Rhine regards

Controlled residential ventilation with heat recovery? Can this be used in combination with a condensing boiler and achieve KFW 70?

Yes - why not, if the conditions allow it?
