Two bathroom floor plans including the much-hated T-wall

Hello everyone,

we can’t decide between two bathroom layouts for the bathroom at the moment.
On this sleeping floor, we only have this one bathroom for 2 adults and 2 small children. Yes, a second toilet would have been nice and bigger would always be better, but this is the space we have to work with.

What I like about the T-wall is that the toilet is somewhat separated, but I’m afraid that this will make the room even smaller than it already is.

What I like about the variant with the large shower is exactly that.

Feel free to give me your first gut feeling.
If anyone has a really great new idea right away – please share it.

Possibly have the door swing outwards? Might also improve the sense of space

In bathroom 2, I find the space poorly distributed. The shower area takes up half of the room, and the rest has to be squeezed into the other half. In my opinion, such a large shower with 2 entrances does not fit in a bathroom where space considerations are important. I like a separate toilet like in bathroom 1, especially if 4 people are supposed to use the bathroom. I might swap the sink and the bathtub there so that you don't walk into the bathtub when entering.

Bad2 is way too small. Also, you shower in front of the window, which is not everyone’s thing either.
