Thank you for the answers. Yes, so IPTV in any form "NO" that's really too slow for football. I will set up a proper network in the house, so that was my question whether I should also send TV signal there, but I think I will stick with coaxial cable or look for receivers that are small and that I can put in between. Use Zattoo or Waipu. Thus, no receiver is necessarily required and also no "problems" with the network configuration. Only via Telekom with the receiver.

There is a way to stream it with a PC using the VLC client. At least that used to work. But I never really dealt with it. I also believe it's only the public/legal broadcasters.

Alternatively, there are also MoIP solutions, i.e. to send the entire video signal of a device placed somewhere (source/sat-receiver or sink/TV) over the IP network. But it costs.

So, I am also interested in technology and stuff. That's also why we had network cables installed to the TV position in our new build. I have to say, however, that the TV stick from a major US retailer plus the TV subscription package from a large DSL telecom reseller - all transmitted via WLAN in the house - is currently our perfect solution for TV. And no, it is totally stable, no interruptions, etc. Including timeshift, recording, etc. Furthermore, it is also mobile if you later rearrange the furniture.
