How do I have to treat interior plaster (lime - cement - plaster) before it can be further treated as follows?

-painting
-wallpapering

What is actually the difference between primer and mist coat?

I would recommend a primer with Tiefengrund, it is relatively inexpensive and also applied quickly. Another advantage is the fast drying time.

Makulatur is recommended for wallpapers so that the seams hold better. However, if you want to paint and wallpaper, it is better to treat everything with Tiefengrund, which also ensures better durability of the wallpapers because the plaster is then saturated and the glue is no longer absorbed as much by the plaster.

Fresh or new lime gypsum or gypsum plasters, no matter what will be applied on them, must be primed with primer. If wallpapering is to be done, it must be pre-coated with brush or roller waste paper to enhance adhesion for the wallpaper.

Hello,
I would also advise you to treat it with [Tiefengrund], because new plaster absorbs very strongly and then you need a lot more paint than without. It is also important that the substrate was able to dry long enough, I would say at least 6 weeks.

Hello, I had a wall in my house replastered as well, the painter only said that I should wait 6 weeks before doing anything on it. I also followed that and then wallpapered. I just used a little more glue and nothing else, and everything is holding perfectly.

Hello, I did the same with the wall, I waited 6 weeks and then painted normally. I didn't notice any difference when painting. For me, it is a gypsum plaster wall, I don't know what kind of plaster you have and if that makes a difference.
