Actually, the homeowner is clearly at an advantage because he/she has a piece of land. Problem: In the degeneration of civilization, the knowledge of how to plant potatoes, carrots, onions, and how to keep and slaughter chickens has been lost. Karsten

Cash itself is not illegal. Neither is a deposit or withdrawal of this amount. This will also not trigger a report to the tax office. Why should it? The important thing is only to submit the correct declaration at the right time and in the right place.

You are also allowed to enter Luxembourg or Switzerland with 1,000,000 euros in the trunk.

I have already handled larger quantities several times and each time received written information that this will result in various mandatory reports to various authorities.

I don't know what to say to put it in nice words. But it is simply not true. A single deposit alone does not trigger a single report.

Is the property with the mother-in-law tax private assets or business assets of agriculture and forestry?

If applicable, there may be income tax on top.
