In Wuppertal, everything stands—from small and affordable to really big and mercilessly hyper expensive. It makes me dizzy—but it’s nice to look at. The favorite of my dreams is also there. Far from being able to afford it (they know that), I am still allowed to come by now and then to have a look and a coffee. Very charming.

However, all of this is brand-new sparkling and stands under the sign: networked energy / ultra-low energy houses / passive houses. Technically, it is (for me) very interesting.

What is clear: such centers are a tactic. If you don’t have oo much money, you quickly come back down to earth there. To get inspiration, I still go there now and then for a walk and then have a coffee afterwards.....
