Top edge of the ground floor slab = Top edge of the terrace? Does that make sense??

Hello, our planner suggested that we build our house so that the top edge of the ground floor floor has the same height as the terrace and the surrounding area (lawn, driveway...). This would also mean that no platform would be needed at the house entrance. The advantage would be more accessibility, and stepping out onto the terrace would also be more pleasant. Is there anything against building in this way? There is no risk of flooding for us, as the neighborhood where the house is located is elevated anyway.

Thank you for the opinions, the arguments really cannot be ignored. I will discuss this again with my planner.

If the house stands 10 to 15 cm higher, a local flood (heavy rain and sewage overflow) has almost no chance. The top edge of the terrace and the top edge of the front door platform can then be the same as the top edge of the finished floor. From the terrace and front door platform, there is then a slight, barely noticeable slope towards the top edge of the terrain.
