who says that? Hello??? You want to install a heater in it :D... you don’t have to tell us anything here that isn’t true. ah, yes. That can be done. Exercise between tools is always well received in women's calendars ;) But now seriously: make your plan, get it approved... we don’t want to argue here, especially if it’s questionable for approval by the office anyway, since it’s in the clearance area and with a heater ;)

How about a prefabricated garage if you still have 3.5m of space anyway?

But you are not allowed to misuse a garage, not even for storing furniture or anything like that. It's an administrative offense.

I was more concerned here with the product itself, as the original poster asked about construction options. The garage is not supposed to be approved as a garage. Whether I build a garage as a garage, garden shed, storage room, or hobby building is initially up to me. The prerequisite, of course, is that I am allowed to erect a structure with the corresponding dimensions for the intended use. Based on the desired dimensions, it fits well, and prefabricated garages come in various designs and price ranges, possibly cheaper than custom constructions. That was the intention.

First of all, thank you for the responses. The approval will be checked afterwards. I am actually just in the evaluation phase, whether a solid construction, prefabricated garage, or wooden shed. The height is planned to be about 2.50m. Actually, I initially thought of a prefabricated garage with 3.50m. The problem is that the 3.50m between the house wall and the neighboring property would actually have to be planned, meaning that no painting or similar would be possible and the rainwater from the garage would also have to be drained in such a way that nothing flows onto the neighboring property. That is why I thought alternatively of 2.50m to still have 1m of passage between the house wall and the property boundary. Unfortunately, we only have a small plot of about 450m2..

Then just take a 2.50 meter garage. However, you have to check whether the parking space is included in the boundary development. In Brandenburg, you are only allowed to build up to 9 meters in length on a boundary. The shed/garage/whatever counts for sure, so everything built within these 3 meters distance is considered boundary development.
