Today, controlled residential ventilation is standard. Therefore, this argument no longer applies ;) Then there is actually no real reason for a tilt-only window, except for the WAF.

Do you have a controlled residential ventilation system? If yes, I would dare to go with the simple tilt window, since fresh air comes in from above. For cleaning, you can almost lay the windows flat by removing the brace.

If you don't have a controlled residential ventilation system, I would definitely choose double-leaf windows, that is clearly better for ventilation.

We had two such tilt windows in the old house, about 160 long and no controlled residential ventilation. It regularly annoyed me because ventilation was only possible with the window tilted, and that was not enough for me. I could have kicked myself every day for insisting on it for aesthetic reasons. Cleaning was not that dramatic for me. One window had a higher sill, so my husband had to help me lay it down for cleaning, otherwise it went well.

It's called a tilt window. Old school, but still available. It will be a special order - I would estimate around €2,500 + X for it...

If someone in the forum has a crystal ball, maybe. Always these single-question threads where people don’t link their main thread with floor plans and elevations. Since I can’t read your mind, my answer is at least provisionally just "42," even though it would otherwise very likely be much more informative. But I currently don’t have time to crawl through your thread history.

I would definitely choose a 1.70 m wide window as a stulped version for the reasons mentioned. Otherwise, it sags "in the ropes" (i.e., crooked) after 2-3 years anyway. Our window maker always says that something like this should be forbidden (tilt-and-turn at this width).

That’s why it is double-leaf – but whether stulp or post does not matter for that.
