Tiling work in the bathroom - Is it allowed to do it this way?

Yes, I mean that very seriously. Divide 182 cm by 60 ... that leaves 2 cm for 4 joints.... Do you want such wide joints? NO ... starting with 3 tiles back there would have been a risky game to see if you could carry that through the entire room so well. And, the tiler acted exactly right, centered the wall and laid from there to the right and left.

How wide are the joints now?
By the way, these are very pretty tiles. I like them very much.

I honestly think it turned out really well. :-)
But I'm also interested in the [Steckdose].

Isn't there even a niche in the left corner? Where the clever tile division now extends the left tile into the niche? Really executed with a lot of careful consideration.

Are the 182 measured between the walls or already including the tiles? If not, one side could have the tiles extended up to the wall including adhesive and tiles, smaller grout lines would also be possible. The niche could also have been bordered with a chrome frame.

Hello, well I can only contribute my layman's opinion, but I also really like the work of the tiler. The room feels bigger or the wall doesn't overwhelm you. And regarding the alignment with the floor, I can only agree with the others. What matters is the effect when you enter the room... and for me it is harmonious.
