So this can definitely be done better. I wonder why the designs were cut on the rail :-( Really bad what some people deliver.

that’s what I mean too. Everything else can be tolerated.

You may all be right. Desires are aroused in the tile studio and the craftsman on site accepts them. However, I expect the craftsman to play with open cards and clearly say what can realistically be implemented and what cannot. At least he clearly said that he cannot miter cut the baseboards.

Overall, we are very satisfied with the floor tiles (140m²), in the bathroom one can probably overlook the few frays. : another picture without backlighting attached.

What annoys us the most is this Jolie rail on the WC pre-wall. Here, the tile fitter would have delivered a visually better result with the standard rail.

Does anyone here have pragmatic, practical tips?

For the corner rail at the toilet? Also here: a bit of modeling paste on the finger and smear it in. You might not even see it then. And if so, place a flowerpot with a climbing plant on it. The wall looks good visually anyway.

It is not great. After all, it is not 100€.

We had a similar case with us. The tiler did not know the word "akkurat."
We asked for a rework, but he refused and wanted to cover everything up with silicone.

Since we were only waiting for the bathroom so that the move-in could work, we agreed on a credit note. This was 60% of the remaining amount, and he should make progress. There was also a not-so-great review, which still stands to this day!

Just talk to the colleague.

He wants to reinstall the finishing strip. Let's hope it doesn't look worse than before.
